week 15: a bit of strategizing
structure and content flywheels

Dear board, first of all - thanks for making the time.
For the past weeks, I’ve been trying all kinds of things. This week has been more about strategizing - and implementing some structure.
Both for marketing and development.
Frederik and I needed to streamline our workflow to prioritize features, scope, plan, and develop.
Techincal stuff
Frederik has been busy working on a lot of backend stuff again this week, preparing for future updates.
We had to move some of our databases to increase loading time.
Soon, I think next week, we’ll start working on a major update that will solve some of our biggest issues at the moment:
articles behind paywall
and not enough insights
Looking forward to sharing more.
Content flywheels
I’ve been strategizing lately.
Building some content flywheels, drawing out our funnels, and trying to be very methodic, building with rapid testing as the main priority.
I think I’ve made something pretty cool, that can help boost our distribution and hopefully start funneling some traffic to our website.
I’ll share more when I have some more data.
YouTube Shorts (as I mentioned last week) is a part of that strategy. We’ve been posting daily for the past 13 days and have gained more than 12,000 views with only 11 subscribers which I’m pretty happy about.
If you haven’t already go check our YouTube channel out here, and remember to subscribe.
Our numbers this week
A slight decline all around, but nothing surprising.
As mentioned, we are doing much bottom-funnel right now.
Total active users | 159 | 🔽 0.62% |
Net new subscribers | -1 | |
Revenue | $0 |
Same goes here:
Emails delivered | 1,101 | 🔽 01.43% |
Unique opens | 555 | 🔽 07.19% |
Unique open rate | 50.41% | 🔽 03.13% |
Unique clicks | 54 | 🔽 01.82% |
We’ll get there.

Looking Ahead
Right now is a waiting game.
We have good stuff going on on the backend, and a lot of major updates coming up - plus I’m grinding to get something going on the content side, that can drive some user growth, hopefully very soon.
I’ll share the ups and downs, our numbers, and our plans with you every week this year.
As mentioned, I’m always open to feedback, suggestions or just connecting.
