week 2

our road to 100 users

Dear board, it’s been a great week and I’ve been looking forward to today.

We officially launched Jared on Monday this week. And by launching I mean soft-launching on LinkedIn.

As mentioned earlier our primary focus is to get some early traction and some users to gather feedback. Essentially, we’ve been trying to break it as fast as possible to find all the bugs in as many different ways as possible.

It turned out there was a lot.

Every day a new bug comes up:

  • No articles in the mail

  • Duplicates

  • Removed articles

  • No email at all

But we’ve been grinding to fix them as we noticed them, and Frederik has been doing a great job fixing them quickly.

Even though this part can be frustrating, it’s exactly what we were looking for, and we’ve been fortunate to have many engaged early users who have provided us with valuable feedback—thank you.

Table of Contents

Ups and downs

  • We are currently seeing a quick understanding of our value proposition and a general curiosity to try our service.

  • We’ve had some positive early traction, taking into account that this is solely driven by my personal LinkedIn (see our exact numbers below)

  • Probably the biggest news is, that we can now handle way more users than before. With our new system, we should be able to handle millions of users.

However…

  • As mentioned we’ve had a lot of bugs, which means that we’ve not been able to push as many of the features we wanted to have.

  • Two people have unsubscribed within a week.

I’m very positive, and I’m excited.
